Why Blog?

So, here I am.  Why here?  Why now?

Have you ever built a castle in the sky?

After much discussion and exploration (by discussion and exploration, I mean procrastinating), I have an answer – if for no other reason, this is nothing more than attempt to put it on paper.  I need to do this for me.  While I hope others will reap the benefit of this process, this is for me.

Over the past decade, or so, I have found myself presented with many technical challenges and have overcome most of them – thanks in part (a large part) to those that blog.

I am not certain where this will lead or if it will – thus the meandering!?

Yeah...this is not my first go at this.  And, if I am going to be successful, I need to adjust my approach.  Being true to my corporate droneness, I need to define this.

SMART / SMARTER - a mnemonic used to set objectives, often called Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for project management, employee performance management and personal development. Let's see if this really works...
